I remember at the beginning of my camp experience during training week everything was so new to me and exciting, I was impressed my camp and everyone I met there; although I felt a bit homesick at first , but later on when I started my placement everything became so exciting and I realized how much I love working with kids. I remember running survival for the first week of my placement and how exciting it was to be teaching the kids things that I’ve just learnt during my training week. As the days went by I started forming connections with other teamers and later on camp just felt like home. I loved how I was always off my phone and doing something fun or new and meeting soo many people from all over the world. I feel like camp completely changed me in a way that it made me more confident and outgoing. I loved how sometimes we had the freedom of coming up with ideas for activities that we can run and it just made me get as creative as possible. Long story short, Best summer ever!
